Amazing, from the first conversation with Zac and his obvious knowledge of the furniture trade, especially Wade furniture, we knew we would not be disappointed. Having searched everywhere to replace our tired looking furniture, to no avail. John suggested getting it recovered. Wade long since closed. Tried sourcing restorers and found this company. Words fail us: Our Wade had been restored so beautifully, am tempted to say 'even better' then when we first purchased it nearly 17 years ago. The structure we assumed was sound. However, it has been returned in superb condition. beautifully upholstered clearly a work of genius and craftsmanship. Thank you Harry x. The courtesy and professionalism extended to us, over these past few months has been outstanding. Zac, Taz, Harris, Nick and Lewis, you are indeed a dream team. Everyone at The Designer Sofa. Taz and the team were amazing! I couldn’t recommend them enough. I moved into my new house in July last year and even with the whole lockdown they managed to turn round my sofa so quickly.. When the sofa came i was so in love, a year on and the sofa is still so amazing! Definitely worth every single penny. Also the whole team are lovely which makes the experience 10/10!

Such a wonderful experience from first e mail with Zak to showroom service with Taz We needed our saggy armchair seat cushions refilling. Excellent service. Our chairs are now pristine again and so comfy to sit on. We will be using your upholstery company again and will be recommending to family and friends. There is a fantastic range of beautiful sofas and chairs in the showroom to suit all tastes. Such knowledge and experience from Taz to help in your choice too ! Once again , many thanks!

WOW! WOW! and Another WOW! Here is a unique family business who still believe in the old addage:"Customer is King"From the first phone call to the final delivery in May of our reupholstered two sofas and two chairs.Professionalism, knowledge, advice, quality and pride are all key to the success of this business and they have it all in bucket loads.We were considering replacing for new but having searched for equal quality, prices were ridiculously high and bespoke was out of the question when considering mass production. Taz and Zak are front of house in the showroom and it's very evident that they enjoy their jobs. Behind the showroom is where the magic happens and the skilled workforce take pride in whatever they produce.And it doesn't stop there-even their delivery staff are proud to deliver the company products.We are delighted with the outcome and bye the way,the price was also very acceptable compared to the competition. Is this a gushing review? Yes. Do they deserve it? Of course they do and Yes I would recommend The Designer Sofa company to my friends and family.Thank you Taz, Zak and all the workforce.

Designer Sofa Company have recently carried out a repair to our Multiyork sofa to correct a poor job carried out by another upholstery firm. They have done a brilliant job obviously carried out by experts. Zak was vary polite and friendly and this is a Company that really cares about their customers needs and really want to do a first class job. We can thoroughly recommend this company

It’s been a real pleasure doing business with Zak and Taz. I had an old (50 years?) Parker Knoll armchair which had already been re-covered by another company not so long ago and which was looking very sad. The difference between that job and the work done by Zak and Taz was enormous. When I got the chair back this time it was perfect, with meticulous attention to finish and detail both in the renovation of the chair itself and the new upholstery. I was even provided with an additional seat cushion because the first one didn’t meet their own high standards. I think the chair probably has another fifty years ahead of it now! The company have real enthusiasm and pride in their work and it was a pleasure to do business with them.

Wonderful professional help and service from this brilliant company. We have had a suite recovered and it’s fabulous. Spent 2 years looking for a new suite before we found Taz and his team and he asked why we didn’t recover our current suite as we loved the style. Taz gave us so much help and advice. Also we have today collected a small chair inherited from my mother which has been recovered too. It’s beautiful. If you want superb workmanship, professional advice and a brilliant friendly company this is the place to go. Thank you so much Taz.

We found The Designer Sofa Company online and were very impressed by the five star reviews and the customer comments. We wanted them to replace the springs on our Multiyork sofa as a previous repair was carried out by a very second rate upholsterer. Zak came along and was obviously very experienced and anxious to correct the fault which they have now completed to our total satisfaction. The Company really cares about customer satisfaction and they are very nice people to deal with . We can totally recommend The Designer Sofa Co. to anyone looking to purchase quality upholstery

I have just purchased two bespoke sofa's from The Designer Sofa, both Taz and Zak were really helpful, excellent Customer Service. The Sofa's arrived on the due date as promised, excellent quality and well made. The delivery was Covid safe and done efficiently. Doubt I will need these Sofa's replacing, but would definitely recommend this company if you want good quality handmade sofa's. Thank you to all who had a hand in upholstering them. Many thanks.

After looking for the perfect set of sofas in what seemed like every retail store, and visiting many bespoke manufacturers, we arrived at The Designer Sofa. Taz was fantastic from the start with his knowledge and enthusiasm. We found our perfect sofa style and whereas we thought we knew what material we wanted,, we changed our minds after seeing a sofa in the showroom. As it was a suede type fabric, I was worried that it would not stand up to the crowds that come through our house, Taz gave me a sample to take home to spill anything and everything on it. We did, tea, coffee, red wine, curry ... wiped off, amazing. It was a joy to purchase from Taz, there was never any sales pressure. We love our two new large sofas and are planning for additional orders for chairs, cushions etc for the rest of the house. We won’t go elsewhere. I have recommended the store to friends and family. Thank you again Taz, Zach and the lovely team.

We would like to add our plaudits to all the other 5 star reviews. All that we can say has already been said in a far more eloquent fashion than I am able. Suffice to say that the Pandemic wait was worth it. Service from beginning to end exemplary. The finished product drew a wow from my son and certainly looks and feels like te real deal. 5stars really does not seem to do this company justice! From beginning to end Taz and Zac gave us a service second to none. We discussed every aspect of what we had in mind, and Zac even directed us to other manufacturers so that we could compare prices and quality. To be honest, our decision was never in doubt, their attitude had been so professional an reassuring. Changes and “tweaks” were made until we arrived at a design that we were totally happy with. The manufacturing process was equally open and welcoming! We were welcomed into their workshop to see our suite being made, and kept informed throughout, despite a pandemic! The finished product just passed all expectations. The quality of finish and standard of workmanship is superb, an reflects the obvious pride and are that these guys take in their product, down to the smallest details of pattern matching.If you have any hesitation - don’t - you will not be disappointed. Would wholeheartedly recommend this company - 10 stars!!!

A big thank you to Taz, Zak, Haris and their team for creating an excellent sofa. The support and advice available was first class and importantly, honest and sincere. It was good to be able to meet the team who make the sofas and to see the high quality of materials and components used in the manufacture of my sofa. The selection of fabrics to choose from was phenomenal. Zak went the extra mile to help choose a fantastic fabric and was meticulous throughout the whole process from design to final product, a superb sofa.

I have just received my sofa and absolutely love it. It is exactly what I asked for. I cant thank Zak enough for all his help. This company is well worth visiting if you would like a bespoke sofa. They even took me around the factory to see the sofas being made which made me really confident they would do a good job and they did. Pure quality.

We are 100% satisfied with our two settees, we spent several hours deciding on size and sitting on the suites in the showroom, We then went home with lots of sample fabrics, then we decided colours etc. The settees were delivered and they are perfect everything we asked for. Taz his family and staff were brilliant all the way through, nothing was too much trouble, their extensive knowledge helped us get a fabulous settee. The aftercare is also excellent,we have a great product that still looks great, i wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

We put all our efforts into great designs and comfort, all our sofas are made with Wade Coil springs and hardwood frames. Each piece of our handmade furniture that leaves our factory is made individually for you.

We source as many components from local and sustainable sources as possible. The wood for the frames is from the UK (from sustainable sources). The fillings for the cushions are made in Long Eaton. The Coil seat springs are made in Long Eaton. Most of the parts are made or supplied by British companies, which are good for the planet and good for the economy. "Thanks you to all the team for the great help and support while I chose my sofas. The staff were very patient and there to help whenever required. As I went for bright red sofas, it was a difficult decision to go so bold, however, I did not at any point feel pressured to buy. Instead, they were on hand to help whenever required. One thing that really made my decision to buy was the adaptability to allow truly bespoke sofas, as I was able to have reversible patterns, due to really liking 2 designs. I have had my sofas now for a few months now and I am still really happy with them! Thank you to all the team for their friendly and professional service. I recommend anyone interested in something special and different for their sofas to go take a look and be brave and go for colour if you want it! "The designer sofa has delivered our pair of sofas beyond our expectations. Having done a number of weeks research to choosing our new sofa for our new home, we quickly realised that the quality from your high street store was sub optimal. Following in-depth research I was brought to the home of British upholstery in Long Eaton. Here we found a number of companies, but the Designer Sofa were the stand out company. A small team, build on customer service and delivering the highest of quality. Taz has since our first meeting delivered a bespoke set of sofas which we had a vision for, using numerous pictures from a magazine, Taz has kept us involved throughout. We were able to visit the sofas in production in the warehouse too, which was a fantastic experience. We decided that our old suite needed replacing but our living room is small and we needed something petite to fit in. A bespoke 3 piece was required.
