"From the day we walked into the shop, the family have been so helpful. The chair and sofa we received is just as we wanted, nothing has been to much trouble, with a Christmas delivery after a delay obtaining materials due to world shortage. Second home visit to fit final order. I cannot recommend this company enough very professional and caring about their furniture.And more than happy to shop with them again."

"This is a brilliant company, staffed by helpful, flexible people who take an enormous amount of pride in their product. The sofas produced by The Designer Sofa company are absolutely top notch. Beautifully made, very robust. You genuinely get the impression when they deliver you the finished product that they love your sofa as much as you do! They're so proud of their craftsmen and upholsterers and are understandably horrified at some of the shoddy, over-priced rubbish parts of their industry are happy to churn out. All this for a good price. Given that they can make absolutely anything in any style or material you want, why would you go elsewhere? We showed them the type of arm style we wanted in a magazine, they made it. We found a wool we loved from an obscure Welsh mill, they sourced it and made a beautiful footstool out of it (which would have cost three times more if we'd bought elsewhere and would have been nowhere near as well made). A quick story to illustrate the customer care you get from Tas, Zac and the team: as they were delivering my sofa from Long Eaton and my dad still lives there, I cheekily asked if they could also deliver an item of furniture my dad was giving me because they were coming up anyway. It was a very heavy butchers block which takes three men to lift. Many businesses would have said no to the extra hassle. Not only did Tas agree without hesitation, but one of their carpenters fixed its leg while it was at their factory! Free of charge! In his lunch hour! Because "he loves anything in wood and couldn't resist it"! It's the sort of care and pride that you only get with a family company more interested in pleasing their customers than chasing a quick buck. This is the longest online review I've written for anything, ever. I don't normally bother, even if I'm pleased with what I've bought. But I felt so delighted with my sofas that I felt compelled to share what a great little family business this is."

"5stars really does not seem to do this company justice! From beginning to end Taz and Zac gave us a service second to none. We discussed every aspect of what we had in mind, and Zac even directed us to other manufacturers so that we could compare prices and quality. To be honest, our decision was never in doubt, their attitude had been so professional an reassuring. Changes and “tweaks” were made until we arrived at a design that we were totally happy with. The manufacturing process was equally open and welcoming! We were welcomed into their workshop to see our suite being made, and kept informed throughout, despite a pandemic! The finished product just passed all expectations. The quality of finish and standard of workmanship is superb, an reflects the obvious pride and are that these guys take in their product, down to the smallest details of pattern matching.If you have any hesitation - don’t - you will not be disappointed. Would wholeheartedly recommend this company - 10 stars!!!"

"We’re are so pleased with the workmanship and service. Our multi York sofas look amazing after being re-upholstered and altered slightly in height and seat cushion width. Ian,Taz and the boys do an amazing job. They talk you through all the work and help you decide on fabric and colors. We checked the finished sofas before delivery and could not believe they were the Sam ones. As I sit on one now writing this review I am still amazed at the transformation. The whole team are very professional and friendly. We discussed the work over coffee and chatted for ages you are treated exceptionally well. Thank you so much it was money well spent, yes we could have bought new ones but why when these were only worn out material they frames were solid. Collection and delivery was exceptional as we moved house in between the two, this was not a problem at all. Once again thank you see you in another ten years. 😀"

They either want new or like you want their furniture re-upholstering back to new condition. Even though your sofa was 14years old, it has been lovingly returned to its former glory. Amazingly because we have re-upholstered your work it still has 6 years of its 20-year guarantee to run, but it will last for many years to come and will outlast the furniture you get from the chain stores today."
